The Sports Wagering Lottery Amendment Act of 2018 legalized sports wagering in the District of Columbia.
The rules governing sports wagering in the District of Columbia were published in the August 30, 2019 issue of the District of Columbia Register.
To operate and/or provide services for sports wagering operations in the District you must be licensed in one of the five categories.
The OLG strives to ensure the public’s confidence and trust in the integrity of sports wagering operations in the District.
Sports Wagering Operators are required to provide information on monthly revenue generated at licensed facilities which the OLG will make public.
